Preventive maintenance works
Our SERVICE includes works for improving the condition of the transformer, on-site rehabilitation, supply of original spare parts, repairs of tap-changers, logistics, etc., which guarantees a maximum availability of your transformer. We will be your partners starting from the planning stage and up to the final commissioning stage. Our aim is to achieve the lowest possible life cycle costs (LCC) for our customers.
Modernization and rehabilitation works
"We can improve performance, increase value and extend the life-cycle of the existing transformer by a complete technical rehabilitation. Our mission extends beyond repairs. We upgrade the transformer with the help of the latest technologies and existing know-how, the result being reflected in the rehabilitated products we deliver. We can perform the works both in our workshop, located in Craiova, Romania or at site, using the repairing solutions available for the specific demand.

Improving performance and increasing the value of existing equipment depends on the complete technical rehabilitation, modernization and exhaustive check of the components. In some cases, the choice of whether to repair or not a transformer instead of replacing it can significantly decrease maintenance costs and ensure a faster installation than if buying a new one. Together with our customers, we try to conceive a repair plan that goes beyond replacing used parts. The final result will be a remanufacturing process through which Electroputere can offer its customers a new product, similar to the original.

We offer works for on-site improvement and modernization of the condition of the transformer, supply of original spare parts, reconditioning of tap-changers, logistics, transportation and 24/7 assistance in order to guarantee the equipment a maximum of availability. Our range of services includes: identification and traceability of the equipment, periodical evaluation of its status, maintenance works differentiated based on the condition in which the transformer is, repairs, improvement of performance, optimization works, recycling of damaged materials and training of the user. We believe in a pro-active, preventive and predictive maintenance. Our on-site technical assistance team is trained and qualified to help you avoid idle time and have your transformer back to operating mode as soon as possible.
State of the art on-site technical assistance
The on-line method used by Electroputere to regenerate the solid insulation of the power transformer implies using natural or synthetic absorbing materials in order to eliminate water and ageing products derived from oil and paper that could not be eliminated through other methods of treatment. The on-line regeneration technology does not require for the transformer to be taken out of operation, reduces operational costs and cancels transportation and reassembly costs. Regeneration costs are usually lower than those of replacing oil. The savings are significant (several times more) when on-line regeneration limits the losses caused by the interruption, generation and transportation of power. Water, acids and mud are the oxidation items that cause the biggest problems in terms of ageing of the oil. Transformer oil regeneration is a method through which the oil is given back properties very similar to those it initially had. The advanced diagnosis process, careful observation of the gases dissolved in oil and of other properties of the oil offers valuable information with regards to the state of the transformer. The advanced diagnosis analysis used by Electroputere usually reveals the seriousness of the problem, helps localize the problem and offers an advice from specialists, in order for you to find out what actions are imposed.
The period of time for which the transformer is out of operation, associated with the maintenance or damage repair works can be reduced significantly when important spare parts are available. Some of these spare parts can be easily bought from the manufacturer. We have a very good relationship with the suppliers of accessories, which makes it possible for us to monitor the code on each item and obtain original spare parts for a quick replacement. Moreover, we can offer technical advice for finding the equivalent spare part or for redesigning those that are obsolete.
