ELECTROPUTERE SA Craiova, organizes an auction for selling from its own headquarters in Craiova, 80 Calea Bucuresti Street, of the waste resulting from the decommissioning of the Electrical Rotating Machines Division, namely: ferrous and non-ferrous waste - aluminum cable and conductor, copper cable and conductor, copper scrap, aluminum scrap, used electric motor waste, electrical and electronic waste, wood waste, paper waste, cardboard waste.

On Sept. 27th, 2018 took place the final reception of the project ”Refurbishment of Bradu Power Station”.
Bradu station is an important interconnection point between the energy distribution networks from Muntenia, Oltenia and Transilvania.
The refurbishment project took into account that, besides the South of Romania, the electrical energy be also supplied to Ardeal and Bucharest via Târgoviște. This was made possible by redistributing the energy surplus provided by Complexul Energetic Oltenia and the hydro-sources from Vidraru.
In March 2017, ELECTROPUTERE was officially named the winner of the tender for repairs of electric rail traction motors and generators, organized on 29.11.2016 by the National railway operator, CFR Călători.
The tender is one of the most important won by Electroputere in recent years on the Romanian market.
During October 12-13, 2016, ELECTROPUTERE attended two important events organized by the University of Craiova: the official opening of the Infrastructure for Research in Applied Sciences (INCESA) and FoCar 2016 Career Forum.
INCESA is a project of the University of Craiova that aims at becoming an important research pole in the region of Oltenia by cooperating with both research centers and the main economic agents in this area, such as ELECTROPUTERE.
ELECTROPUTERE celebrated its 66th anniversary by organizing a special event on 9th of October 2015, at JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel at 13.00. The participants were key representatives of our customers, potential customers, decision makers and business people of Romanian power market.
The event was an excellent opportunity to communicate to the Romanian market the latest changes in ELECTROPUTERE, to develop new market channels and to build trust and reliability among the business community.
Electroputere has received a new order for 3 x 50/76 MVA transformers for Saudi Arabia, SEC (Saudi Electricity Company) – Sultana sub-station. The transformers will be delivered throughout 2013 and commissioned towards the end of the same year. With this new order Electroputere will have delivered, in 2013 only, a total of 24 transformers to Saudi Arabia.
