The Electric Locomotive of 5100kW for Bulgarian Railways (BDZ) was manufactured as a more improved alternative against EL 5100kW for Romanian Railways and it was provided with antislip-antiskid equipments fitted with electronic control flange lube unit with electronic control, electric braking with electric control by variable device automatic purging, braking resistors of increased power.
