The transformers belonging to this class comply to the bulk requirements of STAS 1703 and IEC 146 class IV and are meant to supply the static power converters.
Conditions of operation
The transformers are designed and manufactured to operate in temperate climate in indoor or outdoor installations in an environment with no corrosive agent.
The ambient temperature:
max. ambient temperature +40ºC
air daily average temperature: +35ºC
minimum air temperature: -25ºC.

Construction features
The magnetic circuit is made of low specific losses, grain oriented cold rolled silicous steel sheet.
The windings are made of paper insulated copper or aluminium profiled wire.
The LV winding is cylindrical type and the HV is continuous in flat coils or layered.
The tank is cover type, made of welded steel sheet, with stiffening ribs
